During World War, I think I would’ve felt like I feel now about the war. I would’ve thought that war was unnecessary. I think that war is a waste of time, money, lives, and resources. I think that war is jnot only unfair for the people that went to war and fought, but also for the rest of the people that knew them and had to stay home praying depressed. I think that war was unfair for everyone that was affected, whether it was physically, emotionally, or economically. I respect the fighters and volunteers that wanted to go to war and fight for their country. I believe that they are very brave. Even though I think they are, I don’t have the same opinion as them, because I do not believe in war, or anything that had to do with it. After the interview, I feel very move. It was a very great experience t meet someone that was affected. Now, my opinion of war is worse. He made me realize that war was not just a problem that could be fixed with one word, but could take years and years to finally end. He made me see that this was the true reason why war was so powerful, and never ending to everyone affected.

My opinion of this project is that it was a great experience. My group and I learned a lot about WW2 and how even though it did not take place on American soil, it still affected the lives of many Americans. Interviewing our veteran also let me find out more about my family. I did not know that there was a veteran in my family and that I even had a great uncle. I also found out that there was still segregation at that time against Puerto Rican’s.

I think this project was really interesting and a good experience. It's good to interview someone who was actually there to learn about the war from someone who was actually there's point of view, instead of a text book's.
